Our Christmas tree has brought joy to the community for generations.

Due to the current roadworks and the high winds the lights installation is now set for the weekend of 13th/14th of December

The lights are put up and taken down each year by a team of intrepid volunteers, led by Mike Mason, who require insurance cover which costs £385. It has 920 light bulbs plus the sphere at the top which has 350 LEDs. Each garland (we have 23 at the moment) costs at least £90 and there is also the cost of bulbs and electricity.
