costs of the Village Hall Christmas Lights.
The Christmas lights are put up each year by a team of intrepid volunteers bringing joy to the whole community. However, even though the bulbs are LED and use less energy, the lights still use a lot of electricity, so we are asking you to dig deep to help cover the running costs and the all-important insurance for the team who climb the tree each year to put the lights in place and take them down again in January- often facing everything the weather can throw at them.
